Place it in FIND WHERE YOU INSTALLED PHOTOSHOP should be under Program Files *Adobe/AdobePhotoshop CS5/Plugins/filters

you placed it there right?

Okay, so
Go to your menubar (see top left of image)
Click on "Tools" -> "Folder Options..."
a Window will pop up
Click the "View" tab -> UNCHECK "hide extensions for known file types"

now tell me what the extension for the bilateral file is.
it should be
bilateral.8bf

LOlz, we'll I'm in the same situation. Same file that I got off you on the first page. Using CS4 64bit on Win7 64bit. Doesn't work. Then again, I've never added any plugin's to my photoshop, well not CS4 anyways. I've added a shitload to my Premier though, and they all work. So it' shouldn't be my comps fault. It's fairly new too, i7-930, 12GB DDR3 1600, 2x 60GB OCZ Vertex 2, 3x1.5TB Samsung F3, GTX470 for CUDA.

Well I'm running Photoshop CS3 on Windows 7 64bit, with i7 740QM, 6GB of RAM, and an NVidia GT 330M (I use a laptop lol) so (used it on a dual-core Vista 64 bit machine that had 4GB of RAM and an NVidia GT 6800M? as well) So I know it works on Vista and 7 64bit versions.

Hmmm, then it should work with CS4. Maybe the file you uploaded was corrupt, try uping it again.
