| Hello all! I'm applying for the role as typesetter. I found this site from nyotai ka (love it). And i also found the app on mangareader. I have had PS CS4 for about 2 years. Used it for GFX (Sigs and such). I have free time and i'm fine for any manga you place me in(varying if i get the position or not). A few things about me: 1) I am 16 years old. 2) Im in the process of learning Japanese (only at katakana though ) 3) I have a lot of free time i would say. Yea thanks for reading |

| I love you. I was just saying that we need more typesetters earlier. PERFECT TIMING. If you pass, I hope you like lucky star x] + For hiragana+Katakana, it's not mandatory, but for cleaners I want it to be.... that way they don't kill SFX and such. Learning hiragana is easy. Took me 2 hours with a sheet. Same thing with Kata, but only 1hour. - Spoiler:
Either this site or I had one earlier... can't seem to find it. Either way. Saying it out loud helps me remember. EDIT: FOUND IT. http://www.zompist.com/flash.htmlanyways, ignore me for now. Good luck with your test. |

| Alright that worked, thanks. Well, it looks good overall. My only advice would be watch the text positioning: page 29, panel 2, bubble 2. It's cutting it close to the left of the bubble for "Bathroom". Page 30, panel 1 bubble 3. "Here" is going outside the bubble and over the panel border. Also just a tip for good typesetting practice. Try to have the text in a shape like: oo oooo oooooooo oooooo oooo
just a heads up for the future. That's it for me then, wait for other responses since I'm not a full time typesetter (an editor actually). So other people might notice something I didn't. Best of luck! |

| Yeah, nothing really jumped out at me like "OMGWTFTHISISHORRIBLE". You'll have to wait and see what the admins say xD The good thing with typesetting, is that you can easily go back and fix it if you save it as PSD files When you're a cleaner, mistakes usually aren't as easy to fix @_@ |

| Uhm, well partially right. You correct the levels of the image.(Make the blacks, black. the Whites, white.)
Then you have to redraw the Japanese SFX (depending on what series you're doing). And just make it visually appealing haha. |

| Hmm... the pages seems fine but subnotes like QUOTE "We may even have a quick peek at our hot staff" are usually smaller than the regular text. also the size of text is good but maybe a bit too much... just size it a bit smaller (if possible) so it doesnt touch the lines so much (unless your in a rush) otherwise its pretty good btw ima cleaner in the team... AND LOL I AM NOT A GOOD ARTIST... I could trace though but that doesnt have any creativity |

| Thanks The thing with me and big text is cause of my art teacher ._. Makin me draw erythin big has a toll on me. When adding a quote do you want it in brackets or just by itself? I was kinda in a rush cause i had more stomach pains. (Note to self: Tacos + Sports = Pain). |

| I'm a horrible artist as well. Not that I try drawing anyways It's more problem solving than art. You have to think "What method do I use for this?" then you have to apply the solution without messing anything up. |
