First select the text layer Then press ctrl + T, a transform box will appear Then hold ctrl key while moving the lines(Not the small boxes) of the transform box to make it diagonal-ish.

on photoshop hold down the ctrl button and drag the corners so it fits the board that's probably the easiest way i can think of

er? I always select Text -> hold the left mouse to make a transformation box for text, if that's what you guys are talking about?

emmm, mo guy, because if I do that, I only can put the text in diagonal, but i need to rotate in Z axis.
