| Hello!
This is my first post here and I have no experience typesetting, but I am willing to help out. On the front page you said you needed regular typesetters for Nozoki Ana, so i figured I'd try to help out. It is summer so I should I should have some more time on my hands.
Does it matter if i am running cs4?
How does this process work? I have taken the fonts from other threads and read some intro to typesetting link. Is it just some pages for a test now?

| Mm, CS4 is fine ^^ Sorry for being a bit lazy, but I'm about to head off to bed. Here's a quick "how to" introduction to typesetting: http://senbonzakura.kageyoshi.net/2009/05/02/typesetting/As for the test, here's the pages/script. Post here once you complete it. If you have any questions, feel free to ask. Fonts (in case you didn't grab these): - Code:
-
http://www.mediafire.com/?dfk5csf1cp8uzca Speech: Wild words Yelling: Wild words bold And here's the GTO test: - Code:
-
http://www.mediafire.com/?5f18ogbs3lirb7y General instructions: Anti-aliasing: Smooth Align center I'll probably get you to do a few pages of nozoki ana on top of the normal GTO test, just so you get the knack of it (changing the fonts and such), but at the moment I'm too tired @_@. Best of luck, if you have any problems or questions, post them here. Either myself or another staff member will be more than happy to help you out. |

| For future reference, you might want to make it auto save to png since it will take a while if you save it one by one and keep changing it to Png. >.< *Edit: I don't know if you can auto-save to PNG instead of PSD. >.< I just save it to PSD then Convert it with an Image Converter to PNG |

| that better? the reason the first one had so much space at the bottom is because the text is kinda meshing together... I dont know how to avoid that :/ |

| Eh? I'm no typesetter. I can be super-picky if you want, but the real problems lie in the script... (not part of the test, so don't worry ). |

| Alright then, just typesetting changes though.
page 1, panel 3, bubble 3, small text, push it towards the center of the bubble (ie. move the small text a little to the left so it's centered).
page 2, panel 1, bubble 2, increase the font size
page 3, panel 4, last bubble, make the text box thinner (so the words aren't so close to the edge of the bubble).
Also in general, when there's space and words go over two lines (eg. page 2, panel 3, second last bubble, "closing"), try to keep the word on one line by either shifting the text or changing the text box's size/dimensions. |

| well as a response imo page 1 the smaller text is to the right so i would be nicer with the heart : / but are these better? |

| You could still make the font on page 2 larger; it's supposed to be a surprised shriek, and there's plenty of room. In regards to the heart, you could make the text box wider and try to make it centered yet run into the heart, or by using the clone tool (or selection, I guess) move the heart to the left slightly. Anyway, you'll have to wait for Tran to make you staff. If any typesetters want to jump in, please do. |

| All that I could say is probably resizing and centering of text to the bubbles. That is all for me Oh, if possible try to make the text as close as the shape of the bubble |
