Hi, im new to this forum, but been reading lots of manga lately, especially Sun Ken Rock from you guys, is amazing with your work. So, I just wanted to see if my photoshop skill can be any helpful to contribute to the forum. Even though is not professional or anything. I download the testing folder from one of the sticky topic and work on cleanning it. Hopefully it look ok. Sorry that I'm not a good drawer, so I know there are some stuff that needed to redraw on it. here are my work

Your cleaning looks good to me, but you'll probably be asked by a cleaner (so not Tran or myself) to clean pages they throw at you and/or attempt to redraw a page or two.
Not all projects require redraws, and even for those that do the redraws are sometimes pushed onto other cleaners XD

Yea because when I read the guideline by uuuuhhh he said to make the page to 1100 X 1400, so that why those two page look like it stretch out the width. Uhmm...I'm have no preference on what manga, any manga could work for me

Ignore that, I'll go change it.

When you're resizing, you make sure "Constrain Proportions" is checked, then only change the height to 1400px. The width will change automatically to what it needs to be.

Rule #1 with resizing.
NEVER upscale an image. If it's 1200px to begin with, when you upscale it to 1400px it'll stretch the pixels and make it look like crap. If you're dealing with HQ raws, then it'll be fine.

Does this look ok?

Try to do the outline with the pen tool (P) like that you'll be able to do exactly the shape you want. Anyways, as that part would be covered with text it's not a real problem.
Except for that, the page need a -0,2° tilting and cropping of the bottom and right side.
Overall it's good and I'm glad to see my "how to" finally used.
Can I ask you one more page ? keep the tilting and cropping in mind.

edit : looked at the raw, it's overleveled, what are your setting on the levels ? can you post the psd ?

Sorry for the late reply, been out of town just got back. Yeah, I was messing with the leveling didn't pay attention being overleveling. I was working on the image on my cousin computer do I didn't save the .PSD, if you wanted I can redo and save the .PSD and you can look at it. Let me know, Thanks.

I think you are ready if you follow the set levels, it's from 45 to 50 for the blacks and 250 for the white. it works for every page but for those with a really dark tone (like at night) you wight have to put the balance at 1,20.
Please ask Rue for the final decision

hmm, SKR is kind of taken I believe, it's up to Tran Linh whether you get to edit that from this point onwards.
