4 things you should really read, since we might be dropping Nozoki Ana.
1. Chapter 21 is up. It's NSFW.
2. Chapter 20 has a bubble untranslated in page 20. Just a "nope" thingy, but regardless, the fixed version is up.
3. Next chapter is being typeset. It should be out in a few days.
4. Chapter 22 might be the last chapter we are going to do. Happy?
Reasons:
(i) We do this for free out of our love for manga. This series is hard to translate, clean, typeset, and quite frankly some of our members were against picking up such a mature manga altogether.
(ii) We were never interested in doing this manga to begin with.
(iii) Despite the fact that we picked up this series so that its fans could continue to enjoy it, our efforts were ill received by many. If those we are doing this for don't appreciate our hard work, what point is there in continuing?

Well regardless of whether you keep doing this or drop it, I thank you for all your hard work. I really enjoy this series and not just for its sexual content. On a separate note, how is this that much more mature than doing Sun-Ken Rock, which has sex, nudity, and, while not showing it, rape. Also you guys did Love Junkies, but that was a while ago, and times change fast in scanlataion lol.

I'm always saddened that the people who talk loudest are the ones who are usually shouting hate, but let me quietly say thank you, and appreciate all your hard work on all of your series. Personally my opinion is, if you don't like how a group is doing something, than instead of complaining make your own group and do it your way. Otherwise STFU.

I see the flame war in the previous post. It's a shame that a few people who may not even read this series have given you such a hard time about it, especially when you guys are going out of your way to do something so nice for us fans. But, if you really don't like the series, I totally understand dropping it. Thank you so much for the translations you do, and hopefully some other group will pick up this series in the future.

I've enjoyed reading this manga, and I'm thankful to all the staff involved in making it available in English, but I can see how it might bother some. If the team as a whole is ambivalent about continuing, could you make it explicitly clear that Nozoki Ana is available to another group? Too many good titles are left to languish for months or even years due to that type of benign neglect.

I must say, it was a rather bittersweet feeling when I first saw the post about you guys picking this up, but at the very least it was better than checking a site that never seemed to update for months on end. no, anon-san, they didn't really have any desire to do it in the first place, but did it anyway because they thought people would appreciate it. that was their motivation. if they don't feel like people do, in fact, appreciate it, then they no longer have that motivation.

There were, are and will always be guys that complain. But there are also those that are thankful for every minute you spend for them. Unfortunately the complaining ones are in most cases louder. Please hear the others as well ;-)

If you may reconsider dropping this series I would be willing to help as whatever you need except translator (editor, cleaner, typesetter, proofreader... as long as it is possible for me to learn ). Although I have no experience, I do own photoshop and I will have lots of free time from next week onwards because my exams will finish this week.

Well, having recently picked this up I don't know how fast or not chapters were being scanlated.

However I can say that the work you guys did was great, I honestly thank you for it and personally I'd rather you didn't drop it. But if that is your wish I understand and I wish you the best.

To be honest, i'm sick of doing this free and illegal job and then all everyone care is to read more chapters. For every damn release that takes days of hard works of the staff to complete, while there are tons of sites that make money on our works, still, complainers and shits just show up more than appreciators, all comes directly to us with their crap of "us making money" while we gain a shit for doing it. Now, i'm dropping it for MY shake, i'm a human being, and after reading all the crap in the first release, it leaves a bad taste in my mouth and I just can't get rid of the taste... I should have never taken up the manga in the first place, sorry Death, I just can't bear it any longer. That's it, i'm out, give it to the complainers. I'm fed up doing work like this. I will still continue working on manga that our staff has more motivation to work on. Thanks.

Edit: thinking about that, I have been on stress too much lately thanks to real life and shitz, I'm not really sure but if anyone wants to translate it can apply to translate it in the Recruitment thread, I can double check your translation, but I won't take my hand on translating it anymore. I don't own anyone any obligation to translate it. It has only caused me trouble to do it, I accepted the request too hastily and now I got good enough reason to stop translating. Heck, I can read them in Japanese already, why the hell should I bother HOURS to translate it, to begin with?
