How should I put it... I've been with my GF for about two years and 6 months. It's been 9 months since we started a long distance relationship. Don't get the wrong idea, I'm no father!!


Lately, we had a huge disagreement about something as pointless as one can be, which turned into a huge feud and we eventualy broke up ~ just before Spring started ~
But we got back together after we properly apologized and explained ourselves to eachother (when I was back home). That made me real happy, things really got back to the way they were. But she called me about two hours ago and dumped me. I'd rather not say why (I did nothing wrong, if that's the idea you had, and nor did she), but that's definite (no hope to come back to the good old days XD).

I'm feeling quite lonely, it hurt twice as bad as first time (and first time already hurt like hell) and I'm here to ask what I should do. I don't think sulking or getting depressed are good things, but i can't help it. What should I do? Please spare me comments like "be a no life for some time and go back in the game after you've healed".

where do you live ? go to Paris, Ibiza or the Côte d'azur with some friends for a week or more and party like mad. Some there will be the "plage techno" at Canne and it'll be a freakin party non stop. Girls trouble are always solved with alcool and heavy sound.
I don't know if that advice will help you but it's mine.
I never had any problem when parting with my previous GF as I'm not really a sensitive man (never stay more than 2 week in couple) but It's still what I do. And if there is no chance for you to go back with her, I don't think that it's such a bad advice with the summer comming soon.

@ Weaper: that could be a really nice idea, weren't it for my exam month. Plus, it didn't bother me before either so it comes as a huge blow. Maybe I should kill some time doing serious stuff then "chiner les shagasses en soirée pour me remettre" in June

I need to stand tall for still some time since I've got to organize & participate in a tournament held Sunday. I'll find salvation through sports and escaping sorrow (aka what they usually call avoiding reality XD)

Keep yourself occupied mentally and physically. Go out and fuck other women if you can. Socialize as much as you can (with strangers or build already close relationships). You're right to keep it together for exams (her fault for the timing). In the end be happy for the time you had but know you have to move on.

I'm not really the guy to be taking advice from but hopefully you find something that works here.

Yuki stay strong. 2 years is a really long time. It won't be easy to just let go of such a long relationship. So what I think you can do is to get some of your close friends and talk to them about this. Just talk. It will make you feel better. After that just do things your normal way. Throw away anything that reminds you of her if you really can't control your feelings and become hurt just looking at the things she bought you or vise versa and delete music which you always listen to and get reminded of her. Get a new hobby and make new friends. Prove that whatever reason she dumped you for was wrong. Don't get your mind off her though because IMO the more you try to get your mind off someone the more you actually think of them. So what I think you can do for this is when you start thinking of her just let your feelings flow. Yes you will feel hurt but this will make you stronger. Trust me on this.I know it sounds retarded but in time your feelings might grow weaker for her.

Because it's not exactly her fault we can't stay together. Dunno why I did not tell before, but that's because she's departing for Brazil next week, not coming back for at least one year. Funny thing is that when she's supposed to come back, I'll have left France to go to an university in the US for about 6 months (one of my Grande Ecole partners)

So we wouldn't be seeing each other for at least one year and a half. That's why we broke up for good (since getting a GF ~or BF~ in the meantime only to kill some time would be cruel of us).
