| Hm? The joint is still on as far as I know. I've done 2 chapters for them and I'm about to do another 2. If a problem with the joint arises... well, we'll cross that bridge when we come to it. |

| eh what did you guys do to him? He came to me just some moment ago and said something like he has had enough...eh, I used to hate him because of the argument in the past, but then when we finally understood about each other more, we are going to be good friend...and then what the hell is going on? Idk, but for now, I think I won't translate Nozoki Ana for a while until I have known enough reason (or motivation) behind his acts. For now, Nozoki Ana is temporary dropped until we figured out what's going on. |

| Well, to tell you the truth, we've had some discussions about this situation, and we are seriously considering dropping Nozoki Ana. The thread that PROzess cited as his reason for quitting scanlation ( http://forums.mangafox.com/threads/273434-xscansx-or-blackwing ) pertains not only to his group, but to the scanlation community as a whole. The sheer amount of ingratitude and idiocy demonstrated by a certain number of leechers is utterly disgusting and demotivating to scanlators. And demotivated scanlators don't release, period. |

| Alright, I've looked into it. If they want to drop the project then that's their decision, but PROzess could have at least told us what was going on; I posted the two chapters they gave me the day after they were posted, yet they didn't bother to use them. After officially dropping the project PROzess posted another two chapters, ones they had released alongside the announcement they were dropping the project. If you want to know more about his motives: http://forums.mangafox.com/threads/273434-xscansx-or-blackwingEdit: I'm lagging pretty heavily, I didn't see cmertb or Tran's posts until just now. |

| Guys please calm down i´m not part of the fight i just found out about this but please reconsider it i know there are some ignorants that doesn´t know that this is a free work and nobody has the right to complain about anything but are you serious about punishing the majority of fans who just love to find good scanlation work on the web and always appreciate it; we don´t have fault for the comments and complains about those ignorants. And for waht i have read in his post PROzess isn´t encouraging others to punish the whole community for the attack in the mangafox post.
Just think about it would you like to be punished for other people´s mistakes??
Please dont punish us. |

Why not just give this project to another scanlation group to work with Nozoki No Ana. I'm sure a lot of readers will be disappointed because we all see the potential in the manga. Reminder: it's not that we don't want to apply for a position. More like we are not japanese and we do not have the adequate training of scanlation. I would love to help.
I dont know about the editor thing, but i was part of the cnversation in the irc channel aand between jokes PROzess said that he was quitting for other reasons and that the post mentioned above just given him the push he needed |

| Just to be clear, it's not about punishing leechers, it's really about motivation. Scanlators don't expect a thank you these days, but when they don't even get any sort of acknowledgment for doing their work (and it's a lot of work), it's very discouraging, to put it mildly.
What's troubling about that thread it was that PROzess had to defend his position, rather than normal leechers just telling the few morons to shut the fuck up and disappear. Faced with ingratitude from some, and indifference from the majority, PROzess's decision is quite understandable. |

| Make it 11 positives. I just finished reading the entire argument on MF and at first i didn't realize i had to flip the next page to see the other posters. It's been awhile since i used forums, and I'm on his side. However, i have to say that I was raging when i saw his post on his blog today, but i now clearly understand from his perspective. I deeply apologize for what i posted before. |

| Somebody care to iterate on the MF forum that we haven't decided to drop the series yet? Tran said we'd have a vote, not that it was dropped. |

| Hello. I'm new around here. I recently started reading Kozoki Ana a couple of days ago. Its currently my favorite seinen manga. It really saddens after reading the sudden news that Black Wing is dropping it entirely due to a argument with some ingrate leechers in MF. As much as I like to support his decision but I also really don't wan't the scanlations to end especially when I just got to really liking it. Black Wing and the rest of you in xscansx have done a tremendous job by translating so many chapters in such short time span and I'm very thankful for your effort and dedication. I do hope you can continue with the scanlations despite Black Wing being out. Maybe he can be convinced to pick it up again in the future when he's cooled of and less RL matters to attend. You guys in the scanlation society deserve a lot for making our mangas readable for the english speaking community. I'm hoping the rest of the community will truly appreciate your efforts and you will get the gratitude you deserve. Anyways more power! |

| let's all admit it's all start from a MF fan..If i were you (XscaX/Blackwing) after reading the conversation , i'll just won't let Nozoki no ana be uploaded in mangafox at all or even host site. I have found the part when the provocative person say "you blacklist us put you came here to steal MF reader" completely stupid..he doesn't need to come there. Mangaupdate is sufficient, there is no need for shitty host site..(my opinion). Personally i look what series is up in Mangaupdate i come to the site download the chapter either it's on IRC or Download and thanks the scanlation group. I myself to my degree of competence am learning Cleaning/Typesetting..it is really satisfying but it's a lot of work..(particularly when you have a shitty redrawing on it.....) so i completely understand his point of view. Even though it is a shame..for complete brainwashed people there is on MF you find a lot of person who completely enjoy your works , and thanks you enough for it. Ps: Tran , i've read all the chapter of Live so life . Really good stuff. I'll have a lot to say..is there a topic about it on the forum..? |

| *read.. read... read.... the arguments at MF...* (coz I'm bored) Hmm.. PROzess... I think I've seen him before in maigo or ShinraTensei. Sad to see a contributor to the scanlation world leave and all but.. doesn't this sound bad, quality wise? LOL. - BW scans' website wrote:
- The rest of the 5th volume of Nozoki ana.
Chapter 39 and 40 are slobby TSed by me, since on mangafox people apparently don't care about quality. So why bother with a good TS? 39 and 40 are furthermore labeled as a joint with XscansX since their cleaner let me use his cleans for it. But then again, the quality that MF gives is mehh, so.. And about the arguments in MF (Coz I really am bored): - leechers saying "F*** you LEECHERS!" *facepalm* - that darkBB dude... * double facepalm* - pretty good points from AxelHun on page 4. It's better if the public knows just how much money mangafox is earning. They aren't being transparent after all. Kudos to him for doing research xD - a nice breakdown coming from RelM on page 10. The whole " mangaka makes manga" thing is simple enough to understand for those lazy leechers - I saw some familiar scanlator names in there lol. *sigh* I miss being active =/ On another note, Otoyomegatari now has no translator. Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooo! *goes back to his cave * |

| People don't seem to realize what it means to piss me off. I translate a shitload of projects for a shitload of groups...whoops, *translated*, past tense. I don't care about any flaming comments anymore, be in on /a/ or on MF. Seeing as they still go on with it, just makes it clear that I did the right choice. In they end it's them who lose out. I'll privately read my share or raws and enjoy the series, while they can flame the forums to no end. |
