Hi people i need some of your opinions my situation cuz i really don't know what else to do T.T
before i state my problem i guess i should fill in a little bit about me and my friend so you can understand what kind of relationship we have [omg even idk what kind of relationship we have]

Well i have this friend she always got bullied in school and is always insecure till she met me i am her best friend according to her as for me i do not know yet as i usually have trouble trusting people thanks to my naiveness in the past but that is another topic. And she's pretty clingy she alwas holds my arm while walking and i just push her hand away abit gently since i dont like it when i am being touched i told her that once too and she told me via msn i was hurt from the way you acted towards me. I was like .. and let that go so no matter how much i dislike it when she touches me or hits me [she likes doing that i dunno why lol] i don't say anything but recently i've been pretty moody cuz of school and all so i just shove her hand off my arm she doesn't say anything but she actually does it again then she starts to lean on my shoulder [cuz she is shorter than me lol] i go uhh.. and try to get my arm away from her lol causing me to be like a little distant from her cuz i don't want to keep hurting her because i know she is a really nice girl inside so i just keep to talking and whenever she asks to hang out i pretend to be busy or tired [ which i really am after i start to think of what i have to endure].


So then recently she has been acting really distant i know she was having problems with her boyfriend but other than those details in the surface she did not tell me anything at all. Then because of the jerk i am [ yes i admit it <.<] i did not bother asking her anything. I was like "uh must be the usual huh" [cuz she has been changing boyfriends like clothes so i was like -.-' and not surprised when something like this happened] so i let it go till the next day i went to school and then another one of my close friend was talking to her in chinese [i've hung out with chinese people long enough to understand a little bit of what they are talking] then my close friend was like "does *myname* know about this?" then this girl was like "no i don't know how to explain it" then my other friend was like "i think you should explain it properly since you two are best friends" then the girl was like "oh.." i was like ... but i didn't say anything because i thought she will tell me as time passes and she most probably needs time. So i asked her what happened again [altough i act cool and all i was pretty hurt when she hid something from me lol ]Till now she hasn't said anything.

What do you guys think? What should i do?? I eally don't like the way our friendship is going and i want to patch it up as much as i can..

Anyhow I'm assuming your a guy in this cause if your a girl it's totally different.
Okay the problem is you are being a total ass
If you really treat her like a good friend you should just straight up ask her the problem and solve it together
Right now it's not about if she will tell in a matter of time
It's more like you should act before she breaks down.
All I can say is if you know you are acting like a jerk then stop being one and act like a man

anyways, I'd say, if they aren't telling you something, there might be a reason behind it. Something besides "omg she's been mean lately". It might be something awkward, or it might be something that has absolutely nothing to do with you.

For all you know, the incidents have nothing to do with each other o-o...
I'd say apologize for acting so distant recently, and ask if there's something wrong. If you don't want to do that then idk, I'm a guy.

Could it be that she's trying to make time for a new boyfriend?
Or maybe she's going out with someone you know/like?
Could be she did something she's ashamed of and doesn't want to tell you.
Also, don't jump to conclusions right away. Nothing good comes from it.

yupp i'm trying not to jump into conclusions . I doubt it's anyone i like cuz i don't often talk about crushes unless it's too much . Yeah i think maybe she doesn't want to tell me because she is ashamed but she usually isn't like that she tells me everything..hmm maybe i should just wait..it's been a few days tough that's why i'm getting worried...

but, if you're that concerned, say something like "we need to talk". "I noticed that recently.... blah blah blah" and just go from there. If it's a misunderstanding they'll likely clear it up. If they don't then.... can't really help you there.

ooo sounds like a great idea i should try that on Monday. did dicuss this with another friend and she helped me text the friend that this girl was talking to but i havent gotten any reply from her [ icouldnt text her cuz my handphone is MIA]

not saying that the idea Rue came up with is bad
i personally think thats not a safe bet, but heres a different approach
i can see you don't like clingy girls (which is weird but i guess i can relate cause clingy ppl are... AHHH)
you can honestly don't ever bring it up at all but instead just try to get closer to her than to actually find the problem
(that probably sounded confusing >.< sorry i just woke up and got class in an hour or so)
this gives quite the effect actually
it makes her think you are a really good friend and are waiting for her to make the move

ahh i think it is because i had alot of trouble trying to express the problem making it seem complex lol..hmm i think i'll have to think about it see if i want to approach her like Rue mentioned or just don't mention it at all...thanks guys helped me loads
