Subject: Omnibus over Reg Volumes? Tue Mar 01, 2011 4:33 pm
okay im curious on to is it worth buying most omnibus editions of manga over the regular volumes? the pros i see to omnibus are that they are generally cheaper than buying 3 volumes the cons i see are that they are generaly thick and seems like it would be harder to read cuz they are small vertical and horizontal wise but have massive page count. Also if u read alot it seems the binding of the omnibus editions will damange more and faster.
so some1 let me know if thats the case considering i only own dragonball big edition from viz and fruits basket ultimate edition from TP thats generally higher quality than the others i see

but isnt kenshin also the viz big editions? they are higher quality than the otherones i see that are very small but way thick (such as clover and chobits)

I haven't read either of those however I have bought some different ones that were regular manga size but slightly thicker, and they are no different than regular bound volumes.
I thought those were the ones you were talking about lol XD
