Hi, I'm going to apply for translator for the Higanjima series. I've talked with Tran Linh, and this sounds like a great project! I can't wait to be a part of it! Higanjima has always been one of my favorites. I got hooked on it while living in France, so I have an almost complete series. I speak French and English fluently. I speak Japanese and Chinese to a lesser extent, and am learning Vietnamese from my wife (slowly). IRL I teach ESL and computer science at a university. My job gives me alot of free time, so I can work on translations at work. I'm glad to meet you all, please treat me kindly!

| Hi welcome to the group. I'm the current typesetter for higanjima. It's always good to have more translators.
EDIT: I forgot to warn you of the impending pages of off-topic banter that will soon follow this post. It happens in every introduction thread. Make yourself at home. Lol

Lol, butterfly. My wife wasn't one of my students, i swear! I met her at a restaurant she worked at. I thought she was Chinese at first, so i walk up and said, "你还哟美哟男朋友?"hm, doesn't look right from ipad....anyway. I thought she was Chinese until like the third date. One of my friends says "hey, didn't know you like Vietnamese girls!" We still laugh about it.

wtf? I looked like an Otaku? DAMN I"M ONE OF THEM. You should have known it better, no? lolzzz, but seriously, I need a girlfriend asap to fix my look I think :X, maybe I will be less Otaku-ish? lolz Anyways, your description of your cousin was scaring the shit out of me with all the "piecings and rings he wears". Moreover, you used some big word like "big body with broad shoulders, long wavy ponytalied hair, murderer's pale skin". Great, I was expecting to be killed off any moment he sees me, but he turned out to be a very good & friendly guy, he's a little chubby but he's funny and he's knowledgeable about game and anime as well as manga (oh right, who is the Otaku here? ) lolz. Damn...I forgot something...this is Szat's topic. Anyways, I received your translation of chapter 56 & 57, Szat-san It's quite accurate and I think it's totally workable now. Please go to the Higanjima's project forum & post your translation there (maybe you will want to create a new thread about the new chapters? ) Hmm...your translation speed is expeditious, so I'm worry that we will need more typesetter and cleaner for Higanjima soon if you can keep up this speed. Anyways, lets see a one month trial first.

lol, yeah i told him you are one, according to him you are モテモテ and i told him that your school is in Shirokane-Takanawa, i think he kinda thought that you study at Meiji Gakuin University so he removed his piercing on the eyebrow and lips.. and that description fits him back when we are highschool, he had that "Kenshiro" body, but he gained weight cause アイツ"クスリ"使ってたの、大学時代に... and yeah he's knowledgeable about game and anime since he works for one.. so he's kinda borderline otaku but he doesn't collecting things like we do LOL

eww =.=! i am not モテモテat all, I'm girl-less, you see? lolz, and Meiji gakuin? Hmmm have I heard it somewhere? isn't it a very old university in Japan? Is it in Shirokane? Now that you mentioned about it, he indeed did not have his piercing when meeting with me. He must have thought that I might be scared by it. What a nice guy. Right, I didn't know that you guys share the same name, age, and even birthday lolzzz. Right. let's get our talk somewhere before Szat gives us a lecture :X

Cool. Posted the first 2 chapters, so let me know what you guys think. This is my favorite manga of all time, so it's a pleasure to work on it. I'm shooting for about 5 chapters a week, maybe more if I can figure out a way to hold the book with something and type with 2 hands.
