About this whole deal: I found it stupid from the time you "stole" this project when another group were doing it, really. In my eyes it's just been waste or resources. I can say that since in my group we aren't as many and I refuse to waste my staff on doing the same title as others. We are over that kind of thing (lolsurewearelol)

This race has been stupid too and the "conflict"...really it's like having kids fight instead of getting them to sit down and talk about it. The funniest thing is that the readers don't thing this is crappy at all...no it's that they find it great cuz the winners are the readers (and in my eyes the losers are the scanlators...both teams)

oh and before someone thinks I'm trolling I'm not...I just saw no reason for this "fight" nor the focus on only this title making the staff dead...so the rest of us who don't read this title can wait extra long for the next chapter of manga we like done by this group. T.T

PS: You don't have to respond to this message, nor defend or attack it. I won't be looking at this anyway since I will be waiting for one of the titles I like and probably comment a thank you on that post.^^

More quality manga? Sun Ken Rock is arguably their best scanlation project. I certainly can't think of any other manga that has art on par with it, except maybe Berserk or Dorohedoro.

Oh, we've talked about this with them, several times now.
We tried peaceful negotiations about 3-4 times now, as you can see, none of them have made any progress towards a joint. All the meetings have done is fire each other up

The Love So Life Staff have nothing to do with this actually, you should go poke them and see where they're at :S (They're a completely separate division)

As for Higanjima, we have no cleaners/typesetters for the series, the previous staff had to retire.
We have a few chapters sitting around in the QC section, but they'll only delays the inevitable.
If you guys want the series to continue, then apply, apply, apply~!

*Sigh* After all this is finished, I can finally start the project that I've been seeking a translator for for over 3 months now (I love you Katsudon)

That's an impressive number of releases. It's sad that the scanlation scene always turns into a competition, but that's it's nature for now. Congrats on taking back the lead. Now we wait and see if Random tries to one-up you again. Good job on the releases, and thanks.

Well, I can't do any other thing but thank you for your gigantic efforts over this last days.

I don't see the point in two groups fighting over one project when there are so many quality mangas unstranlated but I guess that I'm in no place to complain.

Seriously, though, this race will not last. There's what, 1 volume before we're caught up to Jap releases? Try concentrating on another project, like, I don't know, Nozoki Ana. Just look at the amount of comments compared to Sun-Ken Rock, the positive ones expecially. Even though this race actually adds more comments to the Sun-Ken pages due to people taking sides, Nozoki constantly gets double the amount of comments, which nearly all consist of thanks instead of something like "your Sun-Ken tl's suck in comparison to Random Scans" or whatever.
I'm just a leecher, so IDGAF that much, but your energy could be better spent elsewhere. I can't complain too much, though, since before the race, Sun-Ken releases were few and far between, so you sort of lit a fire under each others asses At least when you took this series, you didn't pull an Illuminati-Manga and do a volume before letting the rest collect dust forever (Suicide Island), so I'll give credit where credit is due...

What are talking about? They're still releasing the other manga at a normal pace. Most scanlators can barely manage a chapter per manga a week. Also, they work in separate divisions. The ones working on other manga are apparently "off-duty" as it were and will be back after taking a break.

That1Guy, the work done on this series isn't hindering most of our other projects, just the rate of releases if anything (which means roughly the same thing to readers ), not to mention that the three translators who were working on SKR don't translate any other series (since it's our only French series).

Regarding other series, several are on hold due to a lack of raws (eg. Kunisaki Izumo and Shuukyuu Shoujo), some have a lack of staff (eg. Higanjima, 2 of the 4 people working on it left), and others are being held back by staff members' real lives.

By releasing wave after wave of SKR we're certainly holding back the releases of other series, but we aren't neglecting them, rather because of it we've been stocking up on other series.

*By the way, we've almost caught up to the current Japanese mag releases, so the war CAN'T go on much longer. Most of the staff want to see some chain releases of other series, and they will soon be given just that

don't say things you don't know. That's all. Read Rue and Koro's comments. They are saying the truth. No other staff but the regular staff for Sun Ken Rock has been called to this race. And look at the releases date.
