Hi!
I read a posting by Tran Linh, on Mangafox forum, dated May 11th, 2011, in the LOVE SO LIFE thread, mentioning lack of help for typesetters & cleaners.
I have no prior experience, however I am willing to learn if anyone is willing to train me.
I would like to also train as a cleaner to determine which would be the best "comfort zone" for me.
I will post my request in that thread as well.

Typesetting is way easier than cleaning, that's for sure.
And for Love so Life, we need typesetters

Hey! I'm a fellow Typesetter! Well just last month though, but Typesetting is easier than Cleaning since you just mostly/sometimes/often/seldom Copy & Paste the Proofread Translation on to the bubbles. xD (You probably need Cloning though just incase )

1. No. I don't have photoshop. (Seems I need to go buy the software this week.)
2. I can guarantee 15 hours (at least).


Now I have some questions...

1. Do you know if there is a free download of photoshop? (I'm guessing not. Hopeful thinkin' on my part.)
2. Does it have to be Photoshop?
3. Are there any other software used to help with typesetting? (Just wondering.)

Thanks for the 411, FlareRumble! Glad to hear typesetting is easier than cleaning. Rue also mentioned that fact, which has me sighing with relief! However, I don't have Adobe Photoshop and looks like I may be making a trip to Staples or Office Depot to buy one.

Btw, I just noticed your age... you're only 4 years older than my oldest child!!

Well you can probably get Photoshop just by Googling it. And if your really going to get the typesetter job,

sunshinegal, if you don't have any issues with *ahem* piracy then we can certainly link you to a copy of Photoshop. I've seen a portable version floating around here lately.

Koro, I have no issues with piracy... I've watched the Pirates of the Caribbean movies many times! LOL! Well, if you can provide me a link for that copy of Photoshop that would be really helpful.

just to share, i got my 'free' PS by searching youtube heh..
they do videos teaching you how to install them.

I never search youtube :O
it gave me a virus a few times when I was still a comp nub
if you want I have a few links in the cleaning tut (and rue posted torrent link)
