Yo! Sun-Ken Rock has been on our list for ages, but then, due to circumstances, we couldn't take up the manga. That is to say, until now.
Long story short: after exchanging information with Random scanlations, we figured out that there cannot be a joint project between us due to the pace it's currently going. We want to establish at least 1-2 chapters a week for the manga since many of our members love it. Now we shall fight for the manga.

Similar to GTO: shonan 14 days which has scheduled releases on Friday.
Sun-Ken Rock is going to have a scheduled release as well.
On Saturdays, and while we are at it, depending on the fan support, we will release more chapters during the week. But you will no doubt have at least one weekly release of Sun-Ken Rock on Saturday. That should be good enough to satisfy everyone and give Sun-Ken Rock a better position than what it's in now.

For your information, it's not our adf.ly. It's forumotion's adf.ly. We don't gain a cent from adf.ly you are seeing.
We are using a free forum provided by free script from forumotion. and the catch to use it is that you got ads everywhere. But we don't plan to move since we don't have the money for it. We could barely get enough for the raw and there's no money for us to hire a server or host a site for ourselves.

How hard is it to click "SKIP AD" way up top and then download like regular o_O. You're probably downloading the wrong link on the first page. You have to click "SKIP AD" up top then it'll take you to the download page.

I am extremely happy you guys took the time to do this series. The series is amazing and I just wanted to show my appreciation by saying "Thank you very much."

I dont like when 2 groups fighting over a project it sucks
But it sucks even more when there is a group that had taken the project from the start and made it popular and some smart ass guys come along to take it from them...
If you like the project and you would like to see it coming out more often you should join that group to help them out.

Everyone wants faster releases ~ for sure but snatching the project from another group its not the way to do it. It only makes your group look bad.

I wasn't the raw provider for them, they prefered to use the online LQ raws because it was easier.
Also I only joined them in january to help because they didn't release anything in over 2 month.
I only did all that to resume the scanlating of SKR that had been stopped for various reason.
I'm no instigator, I only wanted for everyone to enjoy that awesome manga.

By the way, Xscansx proposed a joint with RandomScanlations. Every position needed could have been provided but they simply refused.

Funny you mention that because I can't recall you ever scanning a single chapter for us.

Also, we have a different vision of "proposing a joint". In my book, it doesn't mean "I went behind the backs of the team, proposed a joint on their behalf despite being a recent member and when none of it materialized, I simply ditched them and joined XscansX while none of them knew what was going on".

Besides, I already caught you lying when you said we used LQ Korean raws, which we all know is false. We only used French MQ or HQ raws so far.

hmmm...now...I'm trying to be neutral as I should be here, so please judge what I'm going to say here favors Weaper or not, Ncrdrg:

1. Donation button, even for developed group like us, donation is hard to come by, 2 months has passed without anything. Fortunately, yesterday, a kind fan gave us his blessing and $5 (which became $4.5 because paypal charge some money for its service), still we are deeply in debt to him because it's like a proof that our works are still being appreciated, this could motivate us to work harder on scanlation. Regardless, as you could see, donation is out of the option for Weaper to gain anything given the fact that, he's not a stand alone scanlator. And even if he were, donation is, as I said, really hard to come by.

2. Weaper was not trying to go behind the back of RS. When I asked him in my email that: "if you can clean, translate, raw providing all by yourself, and you are dissatisfied with RS, then why don't you do joint with us?" He still gave me this answer:" I will think about it, regardless, would you please check out with Carrotop. Here's his email....etc....
He's not going behind, actually, I feel a bit angry here because he was actually defending RS, but now you came here to stomp a "sneaky traitor" tag to his face, I'm not going to leave it alone.

3. We don't care what raw you are using. We purchase our own raw using donation and from paid host. We have a report every month with screen short of earning and then expense for our group. All the money are paid to raw and other expense of the group. And actually no one is making any money from this. Unlike a certain someone. If you have to pay your pocket money for you own raw and then take hours to scan them without any recognizance, then I sympathize with you. If you want a better future for Sun-Ken Rock then I advise you change your opinion about us.

4. For your information, we did want to do joint, but then after realizing how disorganized RS is and how reluctant Carrotop was, I believe there's no joint could be done at all. And given the attitude of Carrotop who couldn't bother to contact me via IRC before this drama, he said "let's do it via email" while it took him 2-3 days to answer it, I think you would have done the same if you want to etablish at least 1-2 chapters a week for Sun Ken Rock, that's it if you like the manga enough.

5. If it's not been to us, how long do you think chapter 31 of yours would have taken to come out? Answer honesty seeing how carrotop wrote "it will be late"?

6. To conclude, I don't think you being here and attacking Weaper can do you any good. It's already too late for any of us. We are official fighting for this, we don't hide nor play any underhanded tatic, we purchase our own raw, we use our own translation, our own force to clean, edit, typeset, proofread, quality check the manga. If you are truly loving the manga, then do it officially.

I talked with carrotop personally on IRC, he didn't want to do a joint, and said "Why should we speed up? We're doing this for free".
I don't want to work with anyone with that attitude.
Also, if you're doing this for free, using free online raws, using a free blogspot, then why are you using depositfiles?
